The burger was good and you could tell all the ingredients were fresh! The chips however were to die for and would absolutely go back just for them. The staff are really kind and we got complimentary sweets at the end which was nice surprise.

Thanks for the review Sasha. Indeed all of our ingredients are fresh. We get fresh deliveries 6 days a week and make almost everything from scratch, fresh each day. Our beef is fresh from Gilligan's Farm in Roscommon and they deliver an exceptional product 👌
Our chips are made from Maris piper potatoes, hand cut each day and twice cooked in beef dripping before being seasoned with our secret house seasoning (smoked paprika and sea salt). They're hard work but made with love 🧡🖤🧡

The staff were soo lovely! we got the chips, hot wings, the bbq cauliflower wings, and the halloumi sticks. the halloumi sticks were wide and salty and incredible. the chips were seasoned and had a great crisp. the wings were really crunchy and barely had any sauce , which isn’t what i was expecting. they were alright but quite oily. the bbq cauliflower wings were really sweet so not to our taste. we’d definitely come back and try something different , it’s cosy inside and the staff really make it.

We were recently crowned 'King of the wings' in Connacht 👑
But in the interest of fairness, it does look from your photo like you got no sauce on your wings at all so your server may have served them to you plain in error 😳
Our wings are delivered fresh from Manor Farm three times a week. We then marinade them for 24 hours in pickle juice and a blended mix of herbs and spices. Afterwards they are coated in gluten free flour and cooked. The flour and the chicken skin make the Wings crispy on the outside and the marinade keeps them juicy and full of flavour on the inside. Once cooked they are (or should be) covered in our home made hot or bbq sauce, garnished and served with a dip of choice 😋

DO NOT eat here if you are COELIAC or require GLUTEN FREE.
I was at the afters of a funeral.
This premises did the catering and it was brought into the afters.
Food arrives in a container marked gluten free and I believe this was.
A burger and chips both very nice.
However they kept bringing food to our table of 4 (chips, onion rings and halloumi sticks).
I advised the staff, 2 of us at the table were coeliac and thus we didn't need as much food but they told us the chips, onion rings and halloumi sticks were gluten free.
I was shocked as they looked lovely. They assured me they use seperate fryers so they did seem to be aware of cross contamination.
Immediately after eating the onion rings and halloumi sticks I felt the reaction started in my mouth.
For me it's instantaneous.
Luckily I had my epipen with me. I felt instantly nauseous.
I rang BóTOWN and pointed out a mistake had been made and I had been poisoned with gluten and she said 'sorry'.
I was so angry.
My weekend in Galway was ruined, I vomited, luckily I did not have to use my epipen but sorry doesn't cut it.

Let me start by explaining some of our Gluten Free options and processes.
1. We use Gluten free flour as a substitute where possible to avoid any risk of cross contamination.
2. We can now also offer our breaded products Gluten free on request as we have sourced a great Gluten free bread crumb.
3. We have 5 fryers. We retain 3 of these as Gluten Free.
4. All our chips are Gluten free.
5. Both hot and BBQ chicken wings are Gluten free.
6. All of our sauces are made in house Gluten free. Including our hot cheese sauce and gravy. We also use Gluten free beer to make our beer honey mustard.
7. We offer alternative Gluten Free buns from Gallaghers bakery in Donegal on request.
8. All our beef is Gluten free.
9. We use separate chopping boards and utensils when preparing Gluten free meals.
10. We maintain up to date lists of allergens for all food prepared. While every effort is made to reduce the risk of cross contamination we can never 100% guarantee it as we do use products containing Gluten in our kitchen.
More specifically in the case of your order.
This was a last minute booking which we went out of our way to facilitate. I have since spoken with the family who were very impressed and grateful for the service and food we provided on the night.
Included in the order was a request for 3 Gluten free and 2 lactose free meals which we prepared and packaged separately.
On delivery these were clearly labelled to suit the specific dietary requests and I appreciate that you enjoye
